The project stems from a lifelong passion for Japan that has shaped her work for over a decade. It all began in 2013, when she worked as a photojournalist for a tourism company, discovering the archipelago through words and images while documenting her encounters for local media. A defining moment, watching artisans at work in a small neighbourhood bakery, sparked the vision that continues to guide her today: to share what deserves to be seen, told, and passed on, Without overshadowing the artists and craftsmen who drive contemporary Japanese culture. The tree represented in our logo is Wakagi (\u82e5\u6728), the sapling engraved on the 1 Yen coin in Japan. Not many know that Wakagi is in fact a fictional tree, designed to embody the symbols of growth, potential, and hope for the future. It\u2019s commonly seen in everyday life, yet the tree\u2019s intriguing story often goes unnoticed.<\/p>\n
