Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between:

Éditions Komorebi, a company based at 43 Avenue Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris, France, registered with the French Trade and Companies Register under number 985 228 618, with VAT number FR30985228618, operating the website www.editions-komorebi.com, hereafter referred to as “the Seller,”
and

Any individual or entity purchasing products from the website www.editions-komorebi.com, hereafter referred to as “the Customer.”

Placing an order on the website implies full acceptance of these T&Cs without reservation.

1. Products

The products available for purchase are described and presented as accurately as possible on the website. Slight variations between the images and the actual products may occur.

2. Prices

All prices displayed on the website are in Euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC) once the customer’s shipping location is set, excluding shipping fees and any applicable customs duties.
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, the price applicable to the Customer will be the one in effect at the time of order confirmation.

3. Orders

To place an order, the Customer must:

  1. Select the desired product(s) and add them to the shopping cart.
  2. Provide the necessary delivery information and validate the cart.
  3. Complete payment using the secure methods provided on the website.

The Seller will confirm the order by email.

4. Payment

Payment is required at the time of purchase and can be made using the following methods:

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) via Stripe
  • Other methods listed on the website.

All transactions are secure, and the Seller does not store the Customer’s payment details.

5. Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the Customer during the checkout process.

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are stated on the website and may vary depending on the destination.
  • Shipping Fees: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and added to the total order amount.

The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

Customs Duties

Any customs duties or local taxes applicable to international shipments are the Customer’s responsibility. These fees are not included in the total order cost and cannot be reimbursed by the Seller in the event of a return or non-delivery.

6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French law, the Customer has 14 days from the date of delivery to exercise their right of withdrawal.

Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise this right, the Customer may complete the withdrawal form available here or contact the Seller at contact@editions-komorebi.com.

Returns are at the Customer’s expense and must be made in their original condition. The Seller will refund the full price of the product and the standard initial shipping costs within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

7. Warranty

Limited Warranty for Books

The Seller guarantees that the book will conform to its description and be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper handling, wear and tear, or accidental damage after delivery.
  • Aesthetic defects resulting from normal use (e.g., creases, minor tears).

If the Customer believes the book has a manufacturing defect, they must notify the Seller within 14 days of receipt by emailing contact@editions-komorebi.com.

8. Liability

The Seller cannot be held liable for any indirect damages arising from the purchase of products. The Seller’s liability is limited to the total value of the order.

9. Consumer Dispute Resolution

In compliance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, if a dispute cannot be resolved directly with customer service, the Customer may contact a certified consumer mediator free of charge.

Éditions Komorebi refers disputes to the FEVAD Consumer Mediator, accessible via: www.mediateurfevad.fr.

10. Personal Data and Cookies

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Details regarding cookie usage are available in our Cookie Policy.

11. Acceptance of T&Cs

By placing an order on www.editions-komorebi.com, the Customer acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

12. Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought before any legal action is taken.
